AI-Powered Product Recognition (Hylla Only)
Zero Data Retention Policy:
When you scan products using our AI features:
1. Your photo is sent to Google Vertex AI for analysis
2. Product information is extracted in real-time
3. All data is immediately deleted after processing
4. Nothing is cached or stored on Google’s servers
5. We (Bearwood Studios) never see or store this data
Technical Details:
– We use Google Vertex AI with zero data retention enabled
– Your data is never used to train AI models
– Processing complies with Google’s AI/ML Privacy Commitment
Bible Honey – Detailed Information
What We Collect
Bible Honey is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect minimal data:
Local Storage Only (on your device):
– Bookmarked/saved verses
– Verse highlights and colors
– Personal notes on verses
– Reading preferences (font size, dark mode)
– Last read Bible reference
Anonymous Aggregate Data (via Firebase):
– Total like count per verse (not per user)
– Total share count per verse (not per user)
– Total view count per verse (not per user)
Important: These counts are completely anonymous. We cannot identify which users liked, shared, or viewed any verse. There are no user accounts in Bible Honey.
What We DON’T Collect in Bible Honey

– AI Processing Data: Zero retention – deleted immediately after analysis
Bible Honey
– Local preferences: Stored on device until you delete the app
– Bookmarks/notes/highlights: Stored on device until you delete the app
– Anonymous verse counts: Aggregated permanently (cannot be attributed to any user)
Account Deletion
Hylla
You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
What Gets Deleted:
– ✅ Your Firebase authentication account
– ✅ All local data on your device
– ✅ All data synced to your iCloud
– ✅ Push notification tokens
– ✅ All associated records
Timeline: Immediate (automated deletion)
Bible Honey
Since Bible Honey has no user accounts, there is no account to delete. To remove all data:
1. Delete the app from your device
2. All local data (bookmarks, notes, highlights, preferences) is automatically removed
Note: Anonymous aggregate counts (likes/shares/views per verse) cannot be removed as they are not associated with any user.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:
1. Right to Access
Hylla: View data in app or email info@bearwood.llc. Bible Honey: All data visible in app
2. Right to Rectification
Edit your data anytime in the app settings
3. Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”)
Hylla: Delete account in Settings. Bible Honey: Delete the app
4. Right to Restrict Processing
Use the app offline or disable specific features
5. Right to Data Portability
Export your data (contact us at info@bearwood.llc)
6. Right to Object
– Opt-out of AI scanning features by not using them (Hylla)
– Opt-out of tracking via iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking
7. Right to Withdraw Consent
– Hylla: Delete account anytime
– Bible Honey: Delete app to remove all data
Children’s Privacy
Neither Hylla nor Bible Honey is intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at info@bearwood.llc.

We implement industry-standard security measures:

International Data Transfers
Hylla: Your authentication data is processed by Firebase, which may transfer data internationally. These transfers comply with:

Bible Honey: Only anonymous aggregate counts are synced to Firebase. No personal data is transferred internationally.
Your inventory data (Hylla) stays on your device (or your iCloud) and is not transferred internationally by us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
